Director of Youth Ministry Job Description

Zion United Methodist Church at 1 North Main Street, East Prospect, PA is seeking a director for their youth ministry. This is a part time position that will begin as soon as a hire is made. This director will be under the guidance and direction of the pastor and Pastor Parish Relations Committee (PPRC). She or he will also be working with our current director until August 2023, at which time she or he will take full responsibility for our Youth ministries. We anticipate the job to take between 10-15 hours per week, with a compensation of $20 per hour. The job may also require additional hours due to the occasional special event throughout the year; these will be compensated accordingly. Special events would include, but not be limited to an annual mission trip to be planned and run under the director’s supervision and several “fun” outings (perhaps one a month).
